"Always open to work with some ideas we have, our friends at G. Inglese helped us put together this new style, in line with the kind of refined casual look we seek these days. We longed for a more relaxed body shape (like our summer camp collar shirts) and casual overshirt details like slightly larger buttons and classic flapped chest pockets, all combined with Inglese's refined make and luxurious details. We call it our Work Shirt, albeit maybe not best suited for the garage or chopping wood! The beautiful retro striped fabric is perfect worn open over a tee, sleeves rolled up, or even under tailoring like we would sometimes style western shirts. " ---Greg

About this Maker

G. Inglese

This familyΒ atelierΒ in Puglia makes shirts fit for a king

Ginosa is a small village in Puglia, known to some for its Gravina, an amazing archeological formation of ravines, caves and churches carved into the rock.Β  Β  It is also home to G. Inglese, a small haberdashery and shirt maker known of sartorial aficionados for years, and catapulted into the headlines when Angelo Inglese was selected by Prince William to make his wedding shirt.

Angelo Inglese's desire to perpetuate traditions transmitted from his grandfather often pushes him to dig out archives and replicate patterns and skills now gone from the world of shirtmaking.Β  Β We have seen a lot of high end shirts, and had never seen a handmade shirt to the level of G. Inglese's.
