For our special 10th anniversary piece, we wanted to take the most iconic example of Fair Isle design, and turn it upside down... literally! Very much inspired by reverse fair isle sweaters from contemporary NYC designers in the mid 2000s, this is obviously a fun take on a classic. Obviously, this is not just a sweater turned inside out, and it is thoughtfully built and linked with reverse panels and all seams on the inside.

Fair Isle is a knitting technique that takes its name from a tiny Shetland island and creates multicolor geometric patterns, knitted in rows. This particular original pattern was immortalized in a famous painting of the Duke of Windsor (an otherwise rather despicable individual).
