"I've definitely called things an ikat design but probably haven't seen a real one before. Utilizing an 'ikat' resist dye by binding and dying all before the hand-looming process the distinctive 'blurry' look is due to he difficulty of the weaver to lineup the pattern when on the loom. Pair with the matching shirt for the full kit, reverse it the next day and have a completely different hat...they'll never know.."---Kenshawn
