"Introduced a couple of years ago now, our Manhattan trouser style with Rota was born from our needs for more casual fits.?? ??For many of us, the classic Rota shapes paired with a shirt, tie and jacket have given way to more relaxed trousers, light sweaters and cardigans. We felt it fitting to update the fits we've carried and lend Rota's skills to the silhouettes we've been loving. The single-pleated trouser is less roomy than double-pleat but more relaxed than our classic shapes but just as stunning. The single-pleat works beautifully with??this luxe and soft wool & cashmere cloth (looks like tweed but nowhere as scratchy).????These are trousers you can wear through fall and winter with a variety of fits."---Kenshawn

About this Maker

Rota

Trust the Rota family to make the highest quality trousers in the world

Rota may not be a household name for most men outside of Italy. But some of the best dressed men in Italy swear by their cut and quality, like Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the chairman of Ferrari.

The company was founded in 1962 by Ampelio Rota, with the intention of promoting trousers from an afterthought to a leading role in a man’s closet. Fifty years later, they still make nothing but pants. Their trousers are cut in the trim, rakish, Italian style, and made with fabrics of unusual quality and distinction.

Each pair of trousers is entirely made in the company workshop in Fidenza near Parma.
