"Our friends at G. Inglese are good sports! We always come up with crazy ideas of mixing styles and fabrics in unusual ways... and sometimes we hit GOLD.?ÿ This is one of those times. That make-up is pure unadulterated fire. A cool seersucker fabric in a western pearl snap style, great yoke and shoulder details, amazing sunset yellow snaps. Don't sleep on this one." ---Greg

About this Maker

G. Inglese

This family atelier in Puglia makes shirts fit for a king

Ginosa is a small village in Puglia, known to some for its Gravina, an amazing archeological formation of ravines, caves and churches carved into the rock.    It is also home to G. Inglese, a small haberdashery and shirt maker known of sartorial aficionados for years, and catapulted into the headlines when Angelo Inglese was selected by Prince William to make his wedding shirt.

Angelo Inglese's desire to perpetuate traditions transmitted from his grandfather often pushes him to dig out archives and replicate patterns and skills now gone from the world of shirtmaking.   We have seen a lot of high end shirts, and had never seen a handmade shirt to the level of G. Inglese's.
